QS World University Rankings 2020 – Finland top 1%

Originally founded in Turku in 1640 before being moved to Helsinki in 1829, The University of Helsinki was recently placed 107th worldwide in the 2020 QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings, regarded as a highly significant assessment globally. In addition, this is an improvement over its 110th position last year in 1000 of the about 4700 institutions in 82 locations they rate annually that make the actual list. Of the roughly 20,000 higher learning institutions worldwide, that would put Finland in the top 1%.
